Cusco, Peru

Photos taken in Cusco and Lima

I'm not sure I can put into words how incredible our trip to Peru was, an overwhelming experience to say the least and something I will never forget. The sights, the food, the colours, all took my breath away, not to mention we had the most incredible weather.

We began in Lima, where we stayed for only one night, but made sure to see as much as we could and of course eat as much ceviche as possible. Our next stop was Cusco, a busy tourist city that sits at an elevation of approximately 11, 200 ft (luckily we didn't experience any altitude sickness thanks to lots of water and coca tea). We spent most of our time walking around the city taking in the sights, browsing the shops and enjoying delicious local food at the market.
